OK, so I should get a newer laptop that can actually live on batteries for an appreciable length of time.But I never spotted this particular single point of failure. My power lead just started crackling. I've borrowed one, but I'm maybe not going to be online as much as I thought.
Time to put my attention back into the room, I guess...
